This probably won't be helpful but I'm using a Winfast TV2000XP. The chipset that it uses is compatible with Linux. It'll probably work with MythTV. I got to use it with TVTime 3 years ago.
Quality is okay. I capture at full uncompressed NTSC on Windows though. Maybe somebody else from the list can share a better experience.
