Hey!

read the installation of the packages you installed from source to get a
clue to the default installation path of the package; usually it would be
placed in one folder then you could delete the folder and determine if it
made a link to your executable and delete the link to clean your system. Do
more research using grep and find command, it would help you much with this
situation.
