Yahoo! have a browser-based version of YM -- flash-based, I think.  I haven't 
tested it thouroughly on a linux machine, but chatting should work fine.  I'm 
not sure about voice and video support.

Well, Skype's video and  audio are better than Yahoo Messenger.  I wonder if 
it's popular enough in internet cafes in Pinas?
