hehehe. i gotcha.

i think PLUG should first post or update its vision/mission statement and
make it clear(attn: Gabriel). before, what's needed is to promote FOSS and
then recently, lobby FOSS in gov't/public education but other NGOs are
already doing the latter and they're doing it well. i remember Ian S. saying
that we should not have a similar endeavor but should provide community/tech
support that they need instead (which are the core competencies of PLUG).

there's one group that i'm aware of who've managed to establish a non-porfit
org which serves as a webhosting service/mentor for other non-profits. we
can do something similar if there's no conflict of interest, that is. how
about creating an API to tap the wisdom of PLUG, then license it somewhere?
ala PLUG-Answers/ExpertExchange, anyone?   :-D
