Hi: Supposing I have web page, and on that web page there are many links to ".pdf.gz" files (compressed pdf) files. Assuming that the web page and those files hosted on an Apache web server. When the user clicks a particular ".pdf.gz" link, is the decompression done on the server side? or is the decompression done on by the browser. Is there a way to make sure that the decompression is done in the client (browser) side?
Is this related to "mime.type" file in the Apache's /conf directory? Sorry if my question is a bit vague. Thanks in advance.
