How do you define support on this context? Ubuntu is well supported having a solid Debian base as well and the community is very strong (check the ubuntu forums). Installation can be done in 3 ways: a) via WUBI so you can install it inside Windows, b) Live CD installation (see if it works first before installing) or c) text install. -- Jerome G.
