Very bad. I meant that uClinux, being an embedded system, does not boot from hard disk, but comes from ROM, PROM, EEPROM, flash, etc. And this includes the election application. The reason that my post mentioned ROM is because that is what the tech person at the Smartmatic presentation at Comelec told me.
The mentioned of "non-volatile" storage, is an error here. It might have been one of my senior moments. Sorry.
