It is outlined here: http://www.gobolinux.org/index.php?page=at_a_glance
and now I realize it is in exactly the same spirit as that of OS X's! While I have not yet spent enough hours using OS X at the command line level to make an proper judgement, superficially at least it seems this way of arranging files makes a lot of sense and might be a truly superior alternative to the traditional file hierarchy. The one downside I can think of is that there will be a (heck of a ) lot more futzing around with symbolic links (?). Perhaps people here who have used GoboLinux and/or OS X in depth can weigh in? ======================== http://www.neotitans.com Web, IT, Software Consulting _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List http://lists.linux.org.ph/mailman/listinfo/plug Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
