Hi! I have this very wierd problem... I have two ZTE MF627 units supplied by PLDT.
The first unit is a black and orange stick with a thin strip of clear plastic window for the blue indicator LED. I believe this is an older packaging. The second unit is a more rounded-corner, black and orange stick with a 4x4 grid of clear plastic for the blue indicator LED. The wierd problem: SSH sessions hang on the second unit. No such problem is being encountered with the first unit. Actually, when I try to establish an SSH session with the second unit, all Internet traffic halts as well. Traffic resumes when I disconnect the SSH session. Could this be a firmware problem? Anybody here encountering the same problem on a similar unit? I've tested on a laptop with Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04) installed. And also using an EDIMAX 3G WiFi router. I get the same results on both platforms. --- mike t. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List http://lists.linux.org.ph/mailman/listinfo/plug Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
