Whatever the result, Linux/Open Source has succeeded. It has made choices available. Just like Henry Ford was rewarded for revolutionizing production processes. Apple will enjoy the first fruits of its innovations. Only time will tell if they will become like Ford today, barely surviving. As long as others will be there to take up the slack, I'm fine with that.
