Hello All.

I recently heard that in several of the regular raids done by the Optical
Media Board, Internet Cafes and Schools that were using Windows XP Home had
their computers confiscated because allegedly XP Home is not for use in a
business establishment. They mentioned that it is stated in the EULA.
However, I have read the EULAs for WinXP Home, Win7 Starter, Win7 Home
Basic, and others and there is no mention there of such restrictions. I did
find that Home versions of Office Home and other products have this
restriction.

Is there an addendum to the EULA in the Philippines? Is it there in the
printed licenses that comes with the OS? I would appreciate more
information in this matter specially a link or reference to a credible
source. As a consultant and FOSS enthusiast I find this information
valuable.

Thanks.

Holden
