I used also --with-ldap but i removed during compilation cause configure
--help not showed --with-ldap instead will show only enable-ldap and
--enable-authnz_ldap
Distro its sun solaris 5.10 sparc.:) definitely same concept cause as i said
its successful authenticating with my apache 2.2.15

What distro are you using? Anyway I just did a search, seem like you
