Hi:

I'm in the midst of setting up NFS server with user quotas. I'm
getting different results on the grace period on the client and server when I
ran the "quota" command to view user quotas.

### client side ####
[linhou@haselbytest10 root]$ quota
Disk quotas for user linhou (uid 502):
Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
16.165.110.117:/share
                      8*      5      10 49709days       4       0       0

### server side ####
[linhou@localhost ~]$ quota
Disk quotas for user linhou (uid 502):
Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
      /dev/sda5       8*      5      10    none       4       0       0

Client OS: RHEL 6.0
Server OS : RHEL 6.4 (Kernel  2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64)

Running "edquota" on the server side shows that the grace period is "5 minutes"
(I set it to 5 minutes to make testing easier), so the output for "quota" on
both client and server is wrong.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Ludwig Lim
