I know Sony's are well made.  I saw the Sony Vaio Pro 13 in several shops.
They really looked good and the specs are great.  However, Sony just
announced that they are selling their computer division, so support is not
clear.  I did not buy it.  But I was very much tempted.

I ended up with a Dell Vostro 5470 which is a midrange ultrabook.  It is
light, has 6-8 hours of battery life, and looks good.  It does not seem
sturdy though.  But I really do not expect it to last longer than 4 years
for its price.  With the savings from choosing Dell, I am thinking of
getting a Chromebook ;)

BTW, Lenovo still has not fixed my laptop.  I might just pull it out from
the service center, order parts, and do the repair myself (change mobo).
