Bill, Yes, I know that. It's finding the x,y positions on the page where the text in which I'm interested begins and ends. Actually, I wimped out and changed the page size of the letterhead that I created in OO.o's Writer so the 'page' was just outside the text. When I re-exported that as a pdf file it was much smaller and worked like a charm in my LaTeX document. Thanks, Rich -- Richard B.
