Where have I seen something like this before? hmmmm? http://www.apple.com/macmini/ :P As far as tech specs the Dell is AMD / ATI, and Apple is of course Intel / Nvidia. BTW, as for the Ubuntu support on the Dell, if you click on the Tech Specs tab on the Dell page, it shows Ubuntu Linux right in there among that "other" OS. Also, don't many Dells come in retail stores now? Maybe see if this one shows up at your favorite neighborhood $BIGBOX store and bring a Live Linux CD and take it for a spin.
