A couple others: The Cacophony Society likes Old Town Pizza, both the one in Old Town and on MLK. The MLK one has a nice upstairs that can be reserved, and apparently, they're quite tolerant of brainy shenanigans. I like Hawthorne Fish House, which has a great back room. Bridgeport Ale House has a big room that's used by Science Pub, but I don't know if there's a charge. Unfortunately, OTP in Old Town may be hard for drivers, while OTP on MLK and Hawthorne Fish House my be hard for transit folks. And I can't speak for Wi-Fi at any of them. (Odd idea: how about Powell's Books - they have book groups, and we might make it into one of their newsletters...) _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
