On Slackware it's noted that /etc/modprobe.conf has been deprecated and /etc/modprobe.d/. /etc/modprobe.comf reads: # /etc/modprobe.conf (old location for Linux 2.6+ config) # # The use of this config file is deprecated. # Instead, create files in the /etc/modprobe.d/ directory # containing modprobe options. # # For more information, see "man modprobe.conf". I assume this holds for all distributions. Rich _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
