Mike,
Looking at the script "networking" it seems that all it does, after
checking for network mounted stuff, is run ifdown -a --exclude=lo and
ifup -a --exclude=lo.  I have run ifdown and ifup (w/o the exclude)
when in the failed state with no effect.  Does the "exclude" add
anything of importance to my testing?
