Perfect, I was going to offer that if someone had a file I could test
and see if my combination was any good for it. It's not quite enough.
The playback is a little choppy - enough that for short term I might
be okay with it, but long term not really - when he's running. The
trees were also all very jagged whenever he was running. I'm unclear
whether that's my computer or the video file. It was gorgeous when he
was standing still. I can see the appeal of HD, even though I've never
had it.... :)

There is no sound there, right? Otherwise I have something else to
figure out in my system setup.

My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 6200, and VLC was only using
something like 50MB of memory, but the CPU was maxed out. So, at least
for me, that was my limitation in viewing it. I'm a little
disappointed, because I hoped the video card would do a bit more of
the heavy lifting, but maybe it already was and my old computer just
can't handle it.
