I have noticed even at POST on this old K6-2 500 system that plugging
anything into the USB ports can cause a system reset. I've noticed this
problem under Slackware 10.1 as well running the 2.4.29 kernel. I get
messages that usbcore is blacklisted. How come? How do I unblacklist
it? The usb ports are type OHCI. I'm attempting to change usb support
from being compiled in to modular to see if that will fix any problems.
I tried to google this, not getting anywhere.
