Offers a driver for linux, but it is module only.  I need to statically
support the network card for PXE booting.  The GPL is being seriously
abused by Atheros.  You are forced to go through the typical you can't
reverse engineer this driver, etcetera, BS.  When you get the source
extracted, there is a copying file that says that the driver is under
the GPL version 2.  If no part of the driver is proprietary, and none of
it should be if the license is the GPL, then someone should fix the
driver so that you can patch the kernel and statically support the
network card.  Someone should blow the whistle on Atheros, the GPL does
not allow limitations on redistribution and reverse engineering.  The
company is idiotic making network cards that noone knows how to support.
Opening up your design to the open source community increases demand for
it.
