Yup, KVM still seems to be a work in progress. For example, KVM uses USB 1.1 for a touchpad passthrough for me. In addition, it's a bit weird to have to use virsh destroy servername (instead of a simple shutdown). Nevertheless, I feel more confident knowing that KVM (with libvirt stuff) is native to various Linux distros, and doesn't have the weirdness of that specialized Xen kernel.
