The preferred location for Mozilla projects is

/usr/libxx/mozilla/plugins

where xx=64 for x86_64 for global plugins. This is the install
location for the flash slackbuild script in /extra of the install DVD
- if you use Slackware ;)

Make sure no other versions are located in
.firefox/plugins
.mozilla/plugins

The dot locations are for local user only plugins.

Also, be aware that 11.2.x is the last flash plugin supported for
Linux. Depending on browser version and video driver it will have
various security and stability issues.
