Rich The preferred location for Mozilla projects is /usr/libxx/mozilla/plugins
where xx=64 for x86_64 for global plugins. This is the install location for the flash slackbuild script in /extra of the install DVD - if you use Slackware ;) Make sure no other versions are located in .firefox/plugins .mozilla/plugins The dot locations are for local user only plugins. Also, be aware that 11.2.x is the last flash plugin supported for Linux.
