I've done ulimit -c unlimited and looked at /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern.
I have a script that does kill -s SIGSEGV $$ But I don't find a core file in the current directory or anywhere else. This is on a recent version of Arch Linux. Can you give me some idea on how to figure this out?
