Thanks to everyone enlightening me on the "why" of this. I had already considered implementing the captcha suggestion made elsewhere in the thread, even with it's flaws. It might be mildly satisfying to make the botnets use up even more resources trying to register for a site that's fully open without registration. -- -------------------- Brian P.
