Is there a way to determine which 'program' on a Linux box is creating network traffic.
I'm sure I knew once upon a time but I seem to be suffering from CRS now. While working on a friend's WinXP system I found residue of the 1e90ff.com virus/malware. Nod32 (antivirus software) blocks the network access but doesn't say which program is generating it. So while trying to find something that will tell me I realized I didn't know how to check for something similar on a Linux box. Not the virus/malware :-) but what's accessing the network. Pointers, thoughts, clue-stick? TIA, Rod -- _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list PLUG@lists.pdxlinux.org http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
