Thanks for the reply. No, I have only used CUPS for printer administration. As it turns out, when I went back to the printer (it's downstairs in my wife's office) I found the LibreOffice document I printed. It may be that it printed so quickly (it's only 1 page) that it was gone when I looked at the CUPS page showing print jobs. I didn't think to look at Show Completed Jobs button. Had I done so, I would have seen that it was done already.
