A friend gave me a JLAB TalkPro microphone? It's a USB mic. Their How to
Guide video says it works with Linux

But I haven't found any documentation that talks about how to use it.
When I plug it in, it lights up. lsusb sees it. If I open up Audacity,
it sees it, and I can record something with it, but the level is fairly
low. Adjusting the gain on the mic doesn't seem to do anything. Also,
with it plugged in, my speakers are muted. I haven't found where I could
unmute them. As I think about it, it makes sense that it would mute my
speakers, but I'd like to find something that explains it further than
my trial and error method.
So, if anybody has any experience with one of these, I'd love to hear
from you.
