I don't (yet) have a Mx series Macbook, my 2017 14,2 is intel. I did locate a tidbit a while back out the USB-C ports being a bit glitchy when switching modes: Thunderbolt 3/4 to USB 2/3, and also the touchbar. I have this snippet in /etc/rc.d/rc.local to trigger a reset of usbmuxd: # Reset macbook usb echo "1-3" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/unbind echo "1-3" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/bind USB connection still gets confused (some USB 3 only show up as USB 2), but plugging in is better and the touchbar lights up correctly. Kernel 6.18.2 Interestingly enough, once I found the "right" USB-C cable (we don't need no stinkin' STANDARDS!), the USB-C KVM built into my Gigabyte 1440p monitor works to use the that external display and with Razer keyboard/mouse. -Ed
