Why: The pursuit of technology freedom
Our planned speaker has become unexpectedly ill and won't be able to
make it. Further, our streaming person is also sick and won't be able to
make it. But, to maintain momentum, we'll meet ANYWAY, not be be
thwarted by unaccountable pathogens. Bring your thoughts/subjects and
we'll talk about them. One potential subject is the recent fad of Age
Verification laws and whether they are just a ruse for surveillance
capitalism and the End of Anonymity. Should be fun, see you there!
Doors open at about 6:30.
Enter through the Engineering Building. Late arrivals should SMS or call
the number on the sign on the outside door. Someone, probably me, will
run up to let you in.
