hi manny,

you have to have an smtp daemon running on your local machine.
fetchmail will retrieve your emails from your isp via pop
and then connect to your local smtp daemon to deliver those emails.
the details of 'mappings' should be specified in your .fetchmailrc
typically in root's home dir.

e.g. "deliver [EMAIL PROTECTED] to local user manny"
i'm sorry i can't give more details as i don't have fetchmail on
my machine. the fetchmail package has a sample rc file afaik.

hth

peace!
