Hi folks,

As this is particularly not about Linux, I'd
appreciate
your help though private email.

Im not very familiar with java-based systems, and I'd
surely need all help I can get. I had installed JRun
3.0 for linux, and it can now server jsp pages through
apache. Now our developers are needing jdbc
connectivity to our mysql databases. I downloaded
mm.mysql-2.0.2-bin.jar, type-4 jdbc driver at
www.worldserver.com. The site says ill just have to
place it at the server's classpath which i did.

Now, how do I configure use of such jdbc driver via
the JRUN Management Console? What items should I place
at the fields: "Name", "Driver", "URL", "Username",
"Password"? I tried the following but i always get
"Invalid Driver.." errors when I test it via JMC:
"mysql", "mm.mysql", "jdbc:mysql://localhost/my_db",
"developer", "secret".

Anyone familiar with jdbc setup on Jrun for linux?
Thanks in advance.

Mary Christie
