hello pluggers,
what is the typical /etc/smb.conf file for a network printer hp690 attached to samba
server.
my smb.conf file has something like this:
[printers]
comment = all printers
browseable = no
path = /var/spool/lpd
print ok = yes
create mode = 0700
read only = yes
i have configured printcap with the lp setting
and it seems ready.
Problem is i can print in Linux but from samba from a windows machine.
any ideas on what should be the correct printer config .
