I am using RH6.2. I am connected to the network with WIn98 clients and NT4 servers. I
configured my linux box so that it will belong to the same workgroup (though not part
of the domain). I could see the linux box from other windows computers (with Samba
Server as hostname). I can ping everybody and can go through the internet through the
proxy server (until the administrator had to limit it to domain users only). But I
want to try to view the members of the workgroup from the linux box. I tried mounting
the computers as a device using their hostnames and shared folders. It failed. Please
advice. Thanks in advance.
