I have the linux-2.4.2 source tree, and I'd like to
apply Alan Cox's patch-2.4.2-ac5. Applying just 2.4.2-ac5
works without error. Is this the correct way, or do I need
to first apply 2.4.2-ac1, 2.4.2-ac2, ..., 2.4.2-ac4, before
I can apply 2.4.2-ac5?
I ask this because I still can't get
modprobe loop.o
to work in linux-2.4.2-ac4. Broken loop support seems to have been
fixed in 2.4.2-ac2, but I am already at ac4 and I still can't
seem to get loop.o to load as a module.
