single-floppy linux distro reminds me of minix which we used to play around with years 
back. i wonder how much they could fit into a single floppy and what systems and 
peripherals it supports because nowadays, a 2.4.x kernel compiled with standard 
settings and support for the most common hardware should eat up around 500-800Kb
