Heh. I got X running. Now, I can "afford" Netscape Communicator 4.76, a
bunch of rxvts, and LWM (a really minimalistic window manager) all on that
30MB. The experience is somewhat better than Win98 on the same hardware.
Anyway, this isn't "my" machine -- but I'll prolly get the RAM anyway. I
don't like flogging myself. :)
