you only need the perl modules that comes with mrtg, this files 
are located in  /mrtg/lib/mrtg2/. just copy it in your linux 
/usr/lib/perl5/5.version/ directory.  

for your community setup, run this command on your router. 

snmp-server community public RO 1  

use the latest version 2.9.10, this support eth0 analysis.
