Isn't this the core of OS X? Based on BSD, and previously available only for
the Mac, the latest version, 1.3.1, runs on x86 processors as well. Tried to get
more details but http://www.opensource.apple.com was timing out on me :(.
Might'a been all those people trying to download the thang? ISO images also
available. If this has Apple's user-friendly touches particularly in the install
and maintenance, it could give Linux still competition, especially on the
desktop.
