Perhaps this is a little late (I was out of the country for the holy week
and am only now sorting out my mail backlog), but ...
What does this have to do with PLUG? I noticed that you (perhaps
frantically) cross-posted your SOS message to three addresses, one of them
PLUG. I understand why you had to send your message to the PC Clinic
addresses and the Edsamail support address ... but why PLUG? AFAIK you're
talking about an Edsamail client for Windows. I don't think a client for
Linux has been released anyway.
Perhaps you can think at least twice before posting something on PLUG
again next time? When the PH Linux Newbie forum was spawned I was hoping
to see less of these seemingly unthought of posts in PLUG. Stuff like this
is irritating, though.
If you want to be able to open an e-mail from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a
subject "$|n" then why not use Linux (albeit not Edsamail for now)? You
could always check the mbox/mh/maildir/whatever and find the erring
message in its entirety. And then you could post help messages in PLUG and
be on-topic! :)
