Steve Ballmer of Microsoft describes the Linux license (GPL)
as "a cancer that attaches itself in an intellectual property
sense to everything it touches".  In a way, this is true,
but also it is GOOD!.  Read more from:

However, Ballmer just refers to GPL open-source.  The "cancer"
effect does not apply to BSD open-source.
