o ORDERING DETAILS o
1. You may e-mail your order to me personally at
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. There are no guarantees I will accept your
order. If you are moderately active in PLUG and do not seem to be a shady
character ( ;> ) the chances are high that you will receive a reply from
me confirming receipt and acceptance of your order.
2. Order processing is batched and done only on Mondays, Thursdays, and
Saturdays. This is because I am in school during the rest of the week
(except Sundays). You will be notified by e-mail when your order is ready
for pickup. We do not accept burn-while-you-wait requests.
3. You may select any set or subset listed above. CD-Rs cost P100 per CD,
subject to 10% VAT. We do not accept customized CD orders. Payment is on a
cash-on-pickup basis (and yes, you will be issued an Official Receipt).
4. Update/Collection CDs may be burned into a single CD as long as it will
fit. This depends on the current size of the the components selected.
Compression is done using bzip2 for maximal reduction.
o PICKUP / DELIVERY INFORMATION o
1. Upon confirmation from me via e-mail, you can pick up the CD-Rs and pay
for them at The Leather Collection Factory Store which is open from 1000h
to 1900h, Monday to Saturday. We are located in:
#15 Don Mariano Lim Industrial Complex,
Alabang-Zapote Road (beside Toyota Alabang)
Las Pinas 1740 PHILIPPINES
Tel: +63.2.842.2261 Fax: +63.2.842.2204
Hint: There is a sign outside the compound whose gate is between Toyota Alabang
and Sanden, right across Goodyear. We're the first factory when you get inside.
2. Alternatively, those who work/live/study in/near the University of the
Philippines - Manila may coordinate with me so that the exchange can
happen during my breaks between classes.
3. Again alternatively CDs may be picked up in our store in the 2nd floor
in Megamall. Unfortunately because shipments are not regular between the
head office and our retail outlet (due to a rather slow turnover caused by
the economic crunch) deliveries of up to 10 CDs will be charged an
additional P70 per set ordered to cover shipping/handling by FedEx.
o MERCHANDISE NOTES o
1. We have standardized on brand-new Kodak CD-R Ultima Silver+Gold 650MB
CD-Rs. Kodak has designed these CD-Rs to be more resistant to scratches,
fingerprints, dust and the harmful radiation of the sun.
2. Except for the selections in the update/collection list, all CDs are
burned from the official ISO images with verified md5sums.
3. Updates are done weekly, or when possible, right before preparing the
CD ordered.
4. Version information and/or snapshot dates are placed in the CD label
that is stomped onto every CD.
5. CDs are burned using the Linux utilities cdrecord or xcdroast to ensure
that the integrity of the original ISO image is retained on disc.
Go grab em while they're hot!
