I suggest that people learning Unix systems who have reached the point of learning 'awk', study Perl and its one-liners instead. If your Unix vendor doesn't have perl installed, well, shame on them ;) The BSD's have Perl, and I'm sure Solaris does, too. What are you using? _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
