Hi, Pasensisiya na kayo I think this is again off-topic. This message is a little bit personal. Pero I need your opinion or advise.
My Boss told me to teach my co-worker to configure, install, and maintain our Linux servers. They are worrying because if I am absent nobody in our company can manage our servers. My co-worker knows only to install Linux, but he don't know yet how to install and configure squid and the server applications. Question: 1. Is it advisable to teach him all my knowledge about server applications? Kasi I spent 3 yrs. already to learn Linux and then ituturo kulang ng parang spoon feeding. 2. Hindi naman kaya parang akoy selfish kung diko ituro ang lahat ng nalalaman ko. I am worrying too kasi kung a-alis na ako dito sa company namin wala ng LInux administrator. In my opinion naman edi mag-hire nalang sila ng iba!:) - Roi Angeles Communications - Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
