Yes! Yes! I was able to use the Internet and word processing. Also,
entertainment (music/video).:)

I'm using RedHat and sometimes Mandrake Linux distro.

Plenty of bundled applications in Linux installagion CDs like KDE
applications (i.e. browser). This are included in RedHat and other
distros.

Plenty of application programs that can be downloaded from the
Internet (freeware and shareware) than Linux.

I want Linux to support different kinds of video cards. The resolution of
the video card in Linux is not very much clear. Linux must improve the
performance of the video resolution of a PC. Windows beats again Linux in
this area I think!:)

1. Most people around the world I think are used with MS Word and Excel
processing. KDE and GNOME word processing programs are new to most users
of computers.

2. Linux has limited supported drivers when your Generic IBM PC has
built-in soundcard, video. It can't detect them when you're in the process
of installation.

3. Most people are intimidated with Linux because they think it is hard to
install and use.

THANK YOU SA OPPORTUNITY NA MA I SHARE KO ANG OPINION AND EXPERIENCED
KO sa paggamit ng Linux and Windows.:)
