I've isolated the problem (I think). I'm building these kernels for Athlon boxes, so in the CPU section I selected Athlon. Whether I compile them using gcc-2.95 or gcc-3.0 I run into the same errors, and on the same machines I can compile kernels with identical configurations for say, Pentium optimization with no problem. Would anyone know an alternative CPU setting to use for these Athlons?
