You try your luck with reiserfsck. If things fail ... you can ask around in the mailing list. ;> For XFS it's similar, although there's an added tool: xfs_db. And an added benefit. If you have an alarming and obscurbe enough situation, the developers may ask for SSH access to your system (or a copy of a snapshot image of the filesystem using dd) so they can investigate what happened.
