run
exec bash(as root) <-- this will update your bash prompt, no need to reboot.
edit - /etc/hosts
- /etc/sysconfig/network
- /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
run..
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart
~noelt.
