hrmm...  try this

point the primary mx of mydomain1.com to your 2nd server..
then on your 2nd server..add this on your config

/etc/mail/mailertable

mydomain1.com   smtp:[1st server hostname]

then issue makemap

# /usr/sbin/makemap hash /etc/mail/mailertable.db < /etc/mail/mailertable
